Our vision is to support the persecuted church
Freedom of belief is a fundamental human right. Every person has the right to practice his or her beliefs as long as it does not threaten or affect other people’s sacred rights. Voice of Christians exists to help those who have been denied this fundamental right.
Mission Statement
To become a lifeline for persecuted Christians by providing them Rescue and Refuge while Replenishing their mind, body, and soul in order to help them grow their Christian faith.
Our Beliefs & Values
Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error, and is the divine authority and guide for the believer.
Trinity
We believe that God is the one and only Creator of all things eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins. He rose bodily from the dead and ascended into heaven where he is sitting at the right hand of the Father. He is our High Priest and advocate ever interceding for us.
Man
We believe man was created in the image of God and willfully disobeyed Him resulting in death and separation from God. We believe that man can be saved and reconciled to God only by trusting in Jesus Christ’s sacrificial death for sin, his burial and resurrection.
Holy Spirit
We believe that ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and to convict, regenerate, indwell, guide, comfort, instruct, gift and empower the believer for godly living and service.
Water Baptism
We believe in the holy ordinance of water baptism as a public witness to our identification in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Holy Communion
We believe in the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of Christ’s death. The elements are symbolic of the body and blood of Christ.
Second Coming of Christ
We believe that the second coming of our Savior Jesus Christ is imminent, and is a source of mutual encouragement, provoking us to righteousness and service.
Mission & Purpose of Church
We believe, as the body of Christ, that He has left us with a clear command to go and make disciples of all nations. We believe that the body of Christ should be prepared to embrace suffering and help those being persecuted.
Church
We believe the Church is composed of all people who, through a saving faith in Jesus Christ, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ of which Jesus Christ is Lord and head.
“Let us not forget: we are a pilgrim church, subject to misunderstanding, to persecution, but a church that walks serene, because it bears the force of love.”
― Oscar A. Romero

Meet our team. Every member of our team is gifted by God and called to serve Him in showing His love to suffering humanity.
K John
Founder, CEO & Director of Operations
Being lived & survived religious oppression and becoming an asylee himself gives K John a firsthand knowledge of how and what it takes to survive after facing persecution.
Over the past 16 years, God has engaged K John in a very specific and unique ministry of rescuing believers and non-believers who become victims of religious persecution. He founded and ran a ministry in his native country of Pakistan from 2005 to 2010. Then he also became victim of those who sought to persecute him and his family in 2002. The Lord sovereignly opened the door through many miraculous circumstances for him, his wife and infant son to escape to the United States in 2010. Very soon after arriving in the U.S. the Lord provided him with opportunities to serve the very same purpose by bringing other persecuted believers into his life. These were mostly converts from other religious backgrounds.
K John believed that the Lord has given him clear vision and direction to initiate and establish a formal non-profit ministry called Voice of Christians (VOC). As a mission enterprise, core focus is to help “persecuted” individuals regardless of cast, color, or religion. K John has worked tirelessly to spread the awareness and educate the Church about religious persecution. He has helped & rescued hundreds of believers over the course of past 16 years. The process to help individuals will involve one or all three of the Steps or stages: Rescue-Refuge-Replenish.
Ronald Paul Simpson
Treasurer and Director of the Finance
An MBA graduate from York University in Toronto currently employed at a major US bank.I was raised in a Christian home though I did not fully commit my life to the Lord until my mid 20’s when I realized my salvation was not dependent on my good works but is based on Jesus’ finished work on the cross. I desire to honor God through my obedience to Him. I met K John in 2010 at our church shortly after his arrival in the U.S. We became friends and have met for Sunday morning prayer and Bible study for several years. Through K John’s own experience of persecution and other examples of people that K John has helped since I met him, I can see the need to Rescue, offer Refuge and to help Replenish individuals who are being persecuted for their faith. I believe it is God’s will for me to offer my financial and business abilities in aiding the VOC ministry.

Elizabeth H. Rogers
Director of Administration
The Lord gave me His heart for Muslims when my husband went to work and live among Iraqi’s in 2008. It was then that I started to learn of Islam and to read many testimonies of Muslims coming out of Islam and into faith in Jesus Christ as the only way to a relationship with the true and living God.
I have previously worked with refugees through a refugee resettlement agency and have made some lasting friendships with Muslims through helping them in a variety of resettlement needs and being welcomed into their family circles and communities. Currently, I am serving within the local international community to help people learn and improve their English. This has given me the opportunity to befriend and serve some lovely women. It is a great source of joy in my life!
I pray God will use me in an ever-increasing way to share His gospel so that others may know Him. I pray He will be glorified and His kingdom will grow as I reach out to the international mission field that has come to our country and especially within my personal sphere of influence.
